If you have a question you’d like answered in Sky Lights, or a photo you’d like to share, send it to:
If you can’t see the email address above, you probably don’t have JavaScript enabled. My email address is generated via JavaScript, which makes things difficult for many spam-bots. It ain’t fool-proof, but it helps. Check out the source code to see how it’s done.
We’ll try to answer all your questions, but keep them related to “something you see in the sky.” That’s a fairly broad topic — I’ve answered questions about fireflies, balloons, and aircraft, but Sky Lights focuses mostly on astronomy, meteorology, climatology, and earth & space science.
If you have a question, please provide the location and date and time of your observation (if applicable). Also provide your name (or initials) and city/country of residence so I can properly attribute your contribution.
If you submit a photo for publication please include this information: subject, camera, lens, exposure settings. I’ll assume (unless you tell me otherwise) that I have permission to use your photo in Sky Lights. All photos used will be formally credited to the photographer.
