Ask a Question

If you have a question you’d like to see answered in Sky Lights, or a photo you’d like to submit, send it to:

If you can’t see the email address above, you probably don’t have JavaScript enabled. My email address is generated via JavaScript, which prevents it from being read by spam-bots. Check out the source code to see how that’s done. It ain’t fool-proof, but it helps.

We’ll try to answer all questions received. No question is off limits, but try to keep it related to “something you see in the sky.” Sky Lights focuses mostly on astronomy, meteorology, and earth & space science. Ask and you shall receive.

If you have a question, please provide your location and the date and time of observation if applicable. Also provide your name (or at least your initials) and city/country of residence so I can credit your question in my post.

If you submit a photo for publication in this blog, please describe the scenario to the best of your ability. Camera and lens specs are optional but appreciated. You must explicitly grant permission for me to use your photo in Sky Lights.
